Léonie Hénaut
Léonie Hénaut is a sociologist of work and occupations whose prime empirical focus is in museums, cultural heritage and creative workers in France and the U.S. She studies professionalization processes, the dynamics of occupational boundaries in contemporary organizations, and the complexity of people's work experiences and identities today. She currently works as an Associate Research Professor at the French National Center of Scientific Research and a Faculty member at SciencesPo in Paris. She started working on SNAAP data with Jennifer C. Lena while a visiting scholar at Teachers College, Columbia University, in Spring 2018. Their collaboration has been supported by the Alliance program in 2019-2020. Léonie will be visiting the Department of Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison as of September 2021.
